Taklimat Sistem Aplikasi Open Office

Taklimat ini diminta oleh Pejabat Daerah Seberang Perai Selatan di mana kursus diadakan di Pusat Komputer Negeri P.Pinang. Seramai hampir 30 orang peserta telah hadir utk mendapatkan maklumat tentang aplikasi open office seperti writer, calc dan impress.

Kursus Penilaian Produk Industri Asas Tani

Kursus ini telah diminta oleh pihak IADA di mana ia dijalankan di Hotel Sri Malaysia Kepala Batas. Seramai 15 orang usahawan pertanian hadir ke kursus utk mempelajari tentang produk makanan yang berkualiti serta cara pembungkusan. moderator Dr Noraziah dari USM memberikan penilaian tentang produk oleh usahawan pertanian. pada hari ke dua Encik Puad mendedahkan tentang nilai kesihatan dan cara menjaga kebersihan produk yang dikeluarkan.

Kursus PHP & SQL (SUK Penang)

Kursus PHP & SQL diminta oleh SUK Penang telah diadakan untuk seramai 8 orang peserta di Pusat komputer negeri P.Pinang.

Kursus Excel Intermediate dan Advanced (Pusat Urus Zakat)

Kursus kali ini diminta oleh Pusat Urus Zakat Pulau Pinang diadakan di Pusat latihan e-office. Seramai 10 orang peserta mengikuti kursus ini.

Kursus Khidmat Pelanggan yang Positif (INSKEN)

Kursus ini berjalan dengan baik sekali, terdapat hampir 50 orang peserta yang mendaftar dan hadir ke kursus ini. Jurulatih Encik Julian telah memberikan ceramah, motivasi dan teknik khidmat pelanggan yang positif. Kursus diadakan di Hotel Sri Malaysia Penang.

Kursus Motivasi Usahawan

Seminar 1 hari Motivasi untuk Usahawan untuk Kelab Usahawan Negeri P.Pinang telah berlangsung semalam (28 Julai 2010). Program ini dianjurkan oleh FAMA Negeri Pulau Pinang. Peserta terdiri daripada 35 orang yang merupakan usahawan dan bakal usahawan. Bekas tentera juga turut hadir. Puan Wardi telah dijemput sebagai trainer dalam program ini.

Kursus Hasilan Roselle

Kursus Hasilan Roselle, iaitu cara membuat Pati / Jus Roselle dan Jem Roselle telah dianjurkan oleh MARDI P.Pinang, dengan e-office sebagai konsultan kursus. Haji Bahari dari ibupejabat Mardi memberi tunjuk ajar kepada para usahawan tani untuk mengusahakan hasilan roselle seterusnya untuk menambahkan pendapatan usahawan tani. Seramai 60 orang peserta telah mengikuti kursus ini yang diadakan di Mardi P.Pinang.

Kursus Produk Halal dan Kualiti

Kursus Produk Halal dan Kualiti yang dianjurkan oleh Fama negeri P.Pinang yang diadakan di Safira Country Club Sebarang Jaya P.Pinang telah banyak memberikan faedah kepada usahawan asas tani. Ia membincangkan tentang penghasilan produk halal yang dibentangkan oleh Ustaz Faizal dari Jakim P.Pinang. Pada sebelah petang, Encik Adzhari dari Sirim berkata tentang penjagaan kualiti sesuatu produk. Kemudian ditambah oleh Encik Poad dari Jab Kesihatan mengenai kualiti kesihatan sesuatu produk. Pada sebelah malam, para usahawan bersama dengan Encik Fadella untuk mendapatkan motivasi pemasaran produk. hari kedua, para usahawan mempelajari asas pemasaran dari Puan Wardiyatul.
Fama mengucapkan tahniah kepada peserta kursus dan mengharapkan kejayaan dari setiap usahawan yang mengikuti kursus ini.

Kursus Pengenalan dan Penilaian Produk Asas Tani

Kursus ini adalah satu kursus yang cukup bernilai. Usahawan berpeluang membawa produk masing-masing untuk dinilai oleh seorang pakar dari USM, Dr Noraziah. Dengan ini akan meningkatkan mutu serta kebolehpasaran produk IKS Pulau Pinang. Kursus ini dianjurkan oleh IADA P.Pinang dan diuruskan oleh E-Office. Dijalankan selama 2 hari, peserta juga diajar kaedah kesihatan oleh pegawai kesihatan Jabatan Kesihatan.

Certificate Presentation to Graduate of Fundamental Linux - IKBN BM

We were happy the Principal of Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara, Bukit Mertajam were with us in the Certificate Presentation to Graduate of Fundamental Linux 5 weeks part time course. With him Encik Tarmizi (Pegawai Pembangunan Kemahiran) and our personnel, Zamri (our in house trainer) and Wida (our Admin Exec) and Linux trainer, Encik Amran.

Congratulations to our student for their commitment although the classes were held during Fasting Month, they still come and spent time to increase their ICT skills.

OBSERVATION ON OUR EFFECTIVENESS IN TEACHING

We conducted observation on our teaching "Intensive English Language level 1" to KEMAS Penang (graduate teachers) from 8-10 September 2009. We went to Tabika Kemas and observe their usage of English Language in giving instruction and interact with the kids. They are somewhat very shy to use the language. If given more training and practise, I'm sure this problem can easily be solved. Their vocabs are not much and grammatical errors that were so obvious. 5-days training are not enough. Continous training, guidance and mentors are needed to enhance their capacities. They need someone to refer to (in this case-a coach) with regard to English language.

Although during the class that was held in July - Aug showed that they favoured the teachers from our training centre and love the way our trainers committed to them during the sessions, without their continous learning and interest to enhance their own mastery in the language, the training left meaningless.

LINUX FUNDAMENTAL TRAINING

Linux Fundamental Training is now being held at Institut Kemahiran Belia Negara Bukit Mertajam. It started on 8th August 2009 and will end 5 September 2009. The class sessions are held on every Saturday 8.00 am to 1.00 pm. The participants are local Bukit Mertajam youth. Some of them are student of Politeknik Seberang Perai, staff from MNC company and staff of government organisation.

The program is offered by IKBN Bukit Mertajam for the youth under 40 year-old. E-Office has done a great job in finding suitable participants and train them. Thanks to the experienced trainer, Encik Syahanaz (USM) and En Zamri our trainer, now become facilitator for the programme. The participants are taught on how to install Linux software, configure and troubleshoot the Open Source Operating System.

During registration, most of the participants do not know what is Linux. Linux is an alternative operating system, unlike Windows xp, it is free. It comes with the popular internet browser: Mozilla and open source office application too.

Internet and Web Design Basics (e-community programme)

The staff of Institut Pertanian Bumbung Lima, Kepala Batas have attended the course to enhance their staff skills in ICT. It started 14 to 15 July 2009. 8 staff have attended the course. They were delighted by our trainer, Mr Zamri. He trained them well and answered all questions regarding internet and web design courteously. They all enjoyed the class and learned much during the training.

The e-community program is free for all above 18 years old who resides in Penang or borned in Penang (except full time students). It is run in conjuction with PERDA e-community project (Penang Development and Authority).

Small sized entrepreneurs of Penang have attended this course, which starts from 6 to 7 July 09. The course was sponsored by PERDA, Penang. The entrepreneurs were taught how to keep receipts, invoices and important document pertaining to preparation of the financial statement. The course started with the principal of accounting, entering data into journals and ledgers. Encik Hisyam was appointed to teach and train the entrepreneurs on this topic. Then, Puan Wardiyatul Fathi (local entrepreneur) talked on Accounting Motivation. She was helpful and the entrepreneurs find that her advice very useful and practical.

The class continues on today, where the entrepreneurs will learn how to prepare income statement, cash flows and balance sheets. They will learn how to reconcile bank statement, at the end of the course. The training will also discuss how to prepare the financial statement based on the participants industry such as frozen food accounting, spa accounting and textile accounting. With this activities, the participants will know how to handle their accounts when they go back to work tomorrow..

The training will finish at 5.30 pm today with certificate giving ceremony. Many thanks to PERDA which has appointed E-office to handle the training.

Intensive English Language course for Kemas Penang teachers

The Kemas Penang teachers attended 6 days 5 night intensive english course which has started from Friday 3rd July and will end 12th July. Mr Haris and Ms Shireen were invited as trainers to teach the TABIKA KEMAS Diploma graduate teachers. The participants enjoyed and learned a great deal about using English language in the classroom as well as interacting with parents and superiors. They were taught communication skills, grammar skills, reading skills and listening skills.

The class for Mesiniaga staff in Kulim was completed yesterday. The participants have enjoyed and very delighted to have attended the course. The trainers werer approachable and given high evaluation from the staff.

Intensive English Class

The 3-week course has started today. Mesiniaga Berhad's staff has taken pre-test assessment in order to know their knowledge level. Then, Mr Haris, from E-Office taught them well step by step to practical English at workplace - presentation skills, speaking skills, writing and grammar. The participants are encouraged to be actively involved in order to increase their command of English to above 30% after this 3-week course. The training is held every weekend.
